Tim & Susie had met us and admired our Tables at the Bangalow Market.

It was a few years later that they sought us out in our Showroom in Eureka. Although their brief was specific they also gave us artistic freedom to create their pieces in true Dirty Old Town style.

They wanted a table that would grow with their family, one where many happy times would be spent and many memories made. A completely unique square dining table was created with a red & white distressed top.

They also commissioned a large set of custom made drawers featuring our trade mark distressed pastel hoop pine panels.

Both pieces remain favourites in their home.

“The bespoke furniture Dirty Old Town produced for us is not just furniture, it is art.

We were after a family dining table that would become the epicenter of our house, one that would be with us for many years and would tell a family story – a table which kids would do their school homework on, one of folded washing, of scratched initials, a landing space when you walk in the door, and of course a table that witnesses many great conversations and much food and wine – everything a family table, or really a family workbench should be.

Dirty Old Town not only delivered this table, but they produced a talking point of which we are proud. This furniture is modern yet bohemian, it is bombproof yet elegant and it is functional yet cool, all at the same time.”
